Alacera thought leadership was amongst the first, to pioneer the rapidly emerging practices of Micro-Urban and Macro-Urban Security Protection solutions. Alacera's "Model City of the Future™" architecture and blueprint, was the first developed to protect entire urban infrastructures, utilizing defense-in-depth, Converged Security Protection solutions and products. Based on the first ever guideline to elaborate and document, Physical Security Protection ("PSP") and Homeland Security Protection ("HSP") - "The National Strategy for Homeland Security" document, issued by the United States Department of Homeland Security ("DHS") in July, 2002 – Alacera's "Secure Model City of the Future" blueprint will lay the groundwork for end-to-end Converged Security Protection, for next generation urban communities, as well as a model for upgrading the security of existing communities. Alacera's vision is that the "Secure Model City of the Future™", will become a global standard for the nations, cities and c mmunities of the world.
"Secure Model City of the Future™" offers:

- Model is based on the first ever guideline to elaborate on the concepts of
- Physical Security Protection ("PSP") and

- Program proposes a
- SCALABLE, INTEGRATED, OPEN, SECURE, RELIABLE & TRUSTED implementation of physical, plus homeland security protection capabilities
- Other critical infrastructures, such as networks and telecommunications.
- To become a leader in defining and developing accreditation and standards for secure urban infrastructures, through Alacera's TSEC facility

is intended to implement functionally and physically integrated
